Almost nothing. We store an anonymous device identifier hash and your subscription tier. We do NOT collect your name, email, location, listening history, or any personal content. Everything stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
During journeys, affirmations are played at two volume levels: a clearly audible "conscious" layer and a quieter "subliminal" layer beneath the ambient audio. Both layers use the same affirmation text — there is no hidden content. You can use "Reveal Mode" in the app to hear the subliminal layer at full volume.
In the app, go to Settings → Subscription to find your Stripe Customer ID. On your new device, go to Settings → Recover Subscription and enter that ID. If you've lost your Customer ID, email us at support@maushwave.com with your Stripe payment receipt.
Open the app → Settings → Manage Subscription. This opens your Stripe billing portal where you can cancel anytime. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
We're a privacy-first app. Distributing directly lets us avoid Play Store data collection requirements and tracking. Direct APK distribution also means we don't pay the 30% app store commission, so we can keep prices lower. A Play Store listing may be offered in the future.
Yes. Our APK is signed with our developer key and includes integrity checks. You may see a Google Play Protect warning — this is standard for all apps distributed outside the Play Store and does not indicate a security issue. You can verify the APK integrity using the SHA-256 checksum published alongside each download.
No — Maushwave works entirely offline for core features (journey playback, recordings, progress tracking). An internet connection is only needed for subscription verification (once every 7 days) and purchasing a subscription.
Your data is primarily stored on your device — uninstalling the app removes it. For server-side data deletion (device ID hash and subscription records), email support@maushwave.com and we'll process your request within 30 days.
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@maushwave.com within 14 days of purchase with your Stripe receipt email.
